Why Kimio's Art

Kimio is a Japanese Canadian. He refers to his art as Medicine Painting.  He uses a dynamic approach.  Kimio believes that by using colours, he can create a background texture/field by opening himself up to discovering the shapes and shades of his imagination. Kimio uses glazing techniques, abstract, vibrational colour therapy and the expression of the inner child. He then takes the abstract and creates a central theme and brings all those expressions together in that theme to create a finished piece.
